Before deleting files my fps would drop from 300 on the sides of de_canals to around 170 in the middle. After they were deleted, it made maps load 5x faster as well as give me an insane FPS Boost. I freed up 17gb of room today of past played community server maps as well old workshop maps. They are visually removed from your counter-strike but all the files are still located on your hard drive.
